2009 Homecoming
The 2009 Mount Juliet Homecoming will include a wide array of entertainment, exhibitions, and activities for all ages. This year's celebration will include:
Folk and bluegrass music performed by legendary and rising stars (list)
Open, community-wide jam sessions for all musicians
Delicious southern cooking prepared on site all day
Sorghum molasses harvesting
Antique farm equipment demonstrations
Historical photo exhibitions
Heritage craft demonstrations and activities
Admission
Admission is free on Friday night and musicians are encouraged to come out for an open, community-wide jam session. Gates open at 5 p.m.
On Saturday, gates open at 10 a.m. and admission is $10 per person. Children ages 12 and under are free.
Admission to the Mount Juliet Homecoming is open to the public. Advance tickets are not available. Admission is on a first come, first served basis. The facilitators of the Mount Juliet Homecoming reserve the right to deny or revoke admission to any party at any time. Pets, drugs, and alcohol are strictly prohibited.
What To Bring
The Mount Juliet Homecoming is a "picnic-style" event. As such, seating is not provided. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own lawn/camping chairs and blankets.
Attendees are encouraged to bring their musical instruments for our open jam sessions. Music is an important part of our heritage, and sharing songs, tips, and stories is what this event is all about.
Still image cameras are permitted, to help capture the memories for your friends and families.
Audio capture devices, including video cameras, are not permitted during the musical
performances.

The 2009 Mount Juliet Homecoming will be held at Happy Hollow Farms in Mount Juliet, Tennessee. This farm has a rich heritage, as it remains one of Wilson County's oldest farms. Its address is 563 Main Street, Mount Juliet, TN, 37122.
